About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Rentention to take charge of our customer engagement, retention, and monetisation initiatives. This is a leadership role, responsible for shaping and executing our CRM vision while also providing strategic direction and oversight for Promotions, Organic Social, and a dedicated Design team. You will lead a team of CRM specialists and creative professionals to craft and execute innovative, high-velocity campaigns that maximize customer engagement and long-term retention. This role is best suited for someone with a strong background in retention and CRM, who can lead teams effectively and drive a cohesive engagement strategy across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of CRM professionals, social media experts, and designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and rapid execution.
  • CRM Strategy: Develop and execute a best-in-class CRM strategy focused on lifecycle engagement, retention, and monetisation, ensuring highly personalized and effective customer interactions.
  • Promotions Management: Oversee the development and execution of promotional campaigns that drive engagement and revenue, ensuring alignment with CRM and retention strategies.
  • Organic Social Strategy: Provide leadership for the organic social team, ensuring that content is aligned with retention and engagement objectives, fostering community interaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Creative Leadership: Work closely with the design team to produce high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned assets for CRM campaigns, promotions, and social initiatives.
  • Monetisation: Identify opportunities to enhance ARPU and drive revenue growth through CRM-driven promotions, loyalty programs, and tailored offers.
  • Early Lifecycle: Own and optimise the onboarding and early lifecycle journeys, ensuring a seamless experience that rapidly boosts engagement, conversion, and long-term retention.
  • Reactivation: Lead data-driven re-engagement strategies to win back lapsed users with targeted incentives and compelling content, ensuring efficiency and quick turnaround.
  • Cross-Marketing: Oversee multi-brand CRM campaigns, identifying opportunities to increase cross-product engagement and player lifetime value through smart, timely messaging.
  • Data-Driven Optimisation: Leverage analytics, A/B testing, and behavioural insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness with a focus on rapid iteration and learning.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and content teams to ensure a seamless and engaging customer journey across all touchpoints.
  • Speed of Execution: Deploy rapid iteration cycles for CRM, promotional, and engagement tactics, ensuring a dynamic and responsive approach to player engagement.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all initiatives comply with regulations and best practices, including responsible gaming and data privacy standards, while maintaining efficiency and responsiveness.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience leading CRM teams within social gaming, casino, or digital entertainment industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams across CRM, promotions, organic social, and design.
  • Expertise in CRM tools (e.g., Braze, Optimove, Salesforce) and marketing automation.
  • A data-driven mindset with a track record of using analytics to drive engagement and retention quickly and effectively.
  • A deep understanding of player behavior, re-engagement tactics, and multi-product cross-marketing.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where quick execution is key.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ensuring alignment across multiple teams.
